EDIT: If you sign up, you DO NOT have to send anything to your partner. I will be the ONLY ONE sending anything to anyone who signs up. All you have to do is send a FEW pictures of a mail you are sending to your partner's email. The mail can be for anyone, as long as there is a stamp and an address (PLEASE REMEMBER TO COVER THE ADDRESS). The USPS is struggling, and sending more mail will make a difference! UNEDITED: I have hosted a swap under the same name for a different purpose, but this is more important than ever. Since the start of quarantine due to the infamous Covid-19, there has been a decline in mail being sent, which will soon lead to delays, So, this is half a swap and half a giveaway. All you have to do is decorate a piece of mail, take a picture, and send it to anyone. The mail can be to your partner, to a friend, to a pen pal, to your post office, anyone as long as there is a stamp or two on it! Everyone will have 3 partners, and all you have to do is send the picture (can be same, or different) of the piece of mail you're sending out! For my 3 partners, I will be sending each one of you an envelope, filled with goodies such as washi tapes, stickers and letter sets! I apologize, but they will be premade and ready to send within the next few days! I have the same question - so there is no mailing involved other than by @atomita2 For us it's just an image to send off to 3 partners?

This sounds like it's an electronic swap. You email a picture of a piece of happy mail you have sent during the time frame of this swap. But if the goal is really to increase mail volume for the US mail system we should probably send I piece of happy mail to each of our partners. I'm a postal worker. I love the idea so I will be mailing something to each of my partners. But I will contact the host to clarify.

Giveaway swaps like this should be listed in the forum under the RAK! This isn't a swap. It's very kind for all these hosts to offer to send away items, but if you aren't actually sending anything, it's not a swap!

Swap coordinator has a week from the signup date to assign partners. I've had a few swaps canceled on me because the coordinator never did it. I guess we wait and see. :) Hopefully not canceled.

From what I understood was that we make 3 pieces of new mail to send to someone we know and send the pictures to our partners. So we are increasing mail volume, its just not to our partners.

If you are assigned someone in your country then, I guess you can just send the letter to them. But people that are assigned to other countries would only send the picture.

I also hope this swap is not cancelled.
