Description:

=update: I'm moving the date back because I realize closing 4 groups in a day means I need to write 16 postcards(realized that yesterday when I closed 4 groups together!), so I'm spreading out the remaining groups out a little, to give myself more time and to see if it attracts more interest.

=I have a ton of washi tapes. Some of my washi tapes are limited edition and out of production or not too long to begin with, so I don't want to do sample swaps, but still want to share the designs. Washi strip (swatch?) postcards seem to be the best way, they don't use up too much of the tape but still manage to share their beauty with others. Also, they are not time consuming like washi tape art. For this swap, let's do the Japanese brand MT. It is the first brand of washi tapes I encountered in Japan. I didn't know what "washi tape" is back then, just thought that tape is pretty, and used them as regular sealing tape XD, how wasteful!

For this swap:

=4 partners, 1 postcard: 1 partner

=Theme: Use Japanese brand MT washi tapes. Try to use designs other than basic MT patterns. example 1 example 2

=Since this is a Japanese brand, I want to see if international washi collectors are interested in participating. So, testing on swap location-international

=swatch your washi tape strips horizontally, vertically, or diagonally across a standard postcard size cardstock (around 4x6 inches). By cardstock, I mean blank cardstock that is thick enough to send out as postcard, but don't use an actual postcard as your base because the picture and washi tape will overlap. I also tried glossy photo paper, the tapes stick really well on those, and they are thick enough.

=if your washi tapes aren't really sticky, put double sided tapes on the edges so the tapes won't come off.

=send the cards as postcards WITHOUT envelope, even if you get same partner for another swap of this series. write a nice message :) or explain why you picked the washi tapes for this theme.

=update: I changed signup date, so we don't have to write a lot of cards if you join more than 1 group of this series.

=rating requirement: 4.98 no recent unexplained 1's or 3's . Please don't join if you know your postal system isn't working too well lately.
