🔖 Collages & Creativity

👋🏼 Hello everyone,

This swap is for you who like to do collages to be put on your journal / diary spreads, tags, envelopes, gifts, happymails, etc. The possibilities are endless!

You would send your partner things you normally do for collages. Some ideas include:

📎 images from magazines / books (size 5 x 5 cm min, 3 pieces max.)

📎 stickers

📎 washi samples

📎 textured / patterned / handmade papers

📎 labels

📎 stamps

📎 die cuts

📎 any other flat items you can think of

Please send AT LEAST 4 types of the above. I don’t write the amount of each (except for magazine / book cuttings - maximum of 3) as it’s up to your judgement because this is HOW we play:

1. Prepare goodies to send by keeping in mind a theme / colour as your inspiration / guide. They don’t have to be strictly in a particular theme, just include some good mix. It’s always good to check your partner’s Likes / Dislikes list (for example, if she dislikes religious items, please don’t send any). On a piece of paper, write a short message about what you have in mind, including your ID & swap name. Then send your swap off.

2. Once you receive your swap, firstly rate your partner and create collage(s) from whatever inside the envelope your partner sent you.

3. OPTIONAL: You’re welcome to send a message / leave a comment on her page of what you created with the goodies she sent, or even a photo of your creation to her swapbot email.

The nature of this swap is most likely subjective to our sending partner however there’s a solid line between rubbish and items that spark creativity. Therefore please ONLY send things you’d want to receive! Group mail weight applies as always - minimum of 50gr / 1.8oz. 💌

Let’s put a fun twist in this swap as I think that creativity is sometimes born out of our comfort zone, don’t you think?! So happy swapping! 😉
