March 14th (3.14) is National Pi Day, National Potato Chip day, and National Write Your Story Day and March 5th is National Learn what Your Name Means Day

So, let's combine some of those for a little writing swap. Sound like fun? This will be a type 3 swap for the time it will take to write, but you can send it folded like a letter, so postage shouldn't be an issue.

We all have profiles - here on SB, on other social media, for work, maybe for church or reading groups. But does it tell your story? For this International swap you will have 1 partner and you will tell your partner what your name means (maybe if you were named after someone you can talk about that too?) and write a little about your life story. Please don't worry - this doesn't have to be a full on memoir! Just about a page (8.5x11/ A4 size, one side), handwritten or typed, about - YOU You don't have to get super personal, but go for more than what is in your SB profile. Think about where you grew up, people who were important to you, what you wanted to be when you grew up. Or places you've visited, people you've met. Things that are important to you, topics that have formed you into the person you are now. OR when you met your special someone, when you learned to do that thing you love, it's up to you.

If your English or writing isn't A+ perfect - it is ok! This isn't a school assignment, you won't get a grade. (I mean, if you type it, run spell check :) but don't feel like you have to be perfect.)

Illustrations or pictures can be included but are not required

To find the meaning of your name, you can check baby name books or you might want to try out: Baby Names.com Behind the Name or Names.org, but feel free to use whichever resource works best for you. :)

This is a bit of a different swap for the group. Did I forget something? Is something not clear? Send me a PM and ask! I'll respond as soon as I can, promise! But I will not see comments left below b/c I always forget them!
