AtB "Struggle in a Sentence" Vent Swap

Hi everyone!

I'm shamelessly stealing the idea for this swap from a podcast I used to listen to called The Mental Illness Happy Hour.

(I just haven't been listening to podcasts for a while, nothing against it or anything, when I say "used to" listen to.)

Anyway--the premise is to try to come up with a (darkly funny, if possible) way to describe your current life struggle in one sentence. It doesn't have to be mental health-related, either.

Usually the best ones are very concrete. So you don't want to say "I'm depressed" as your sentence, but something like "I haven't showered for so many days that I noticed dust in the bathtub today."

Or, to get more practical, write a sentence about what you had to eat for dinner last night because money's so tight, etc.

So for this swap, you'll write your struggle in a sentence, provide context only if you want to, and send it off. You can also tell your partner to throw it away or burn it or any other special instructions.

This is meant to be cathartic. We all have struggles, and sometimes just venting to a near-stranger somehow helps.

You can write it on plain letter paper, type it, use fancy stationery, or whatever you want!

*Please remember to be conscious of your partner's privacy when you rate, however. I.e., some people are embarrassed about their struggle and don't want to make that info publicly available, so be mindful of that when you make your rating comment. You can always PM if you want to get specific!
