MM&L: Osiris & Isis ATC Challenge! (Ancient Egypt)

Ahh, back to Ancient Egypt. Who doesn't love it here? Now that your heart has been weighed, you may pass to the next challenge: Osiris and Isis.

Osiris and Isis are two deities at the core of the central Ancient Egyptian mythos. They are both siblings and spouses, which is a little weird, but a lot about history is! When Osiris's brother, Set, kills him and chops him up to take over the throne, Isis (along with the help of others) gathers the pieces and uses magic to revive him. And then, she gets pregnant with Horus. We'll talk about him later.

Osiris is the god of death and resurrection. Isis is the prototypical mother, a goddess of magic, and a protector. For this swap, you will depict both. The challenge? They can both be on one ATC, or each have their own!

To repeat: you will be creating either one or two ATCs, your choice. If it is one ATC, it must include Osiris AND Isis. If it is two, it is one per card. You will have a full month, as this is two deities. Osiris and Isis. Got it?

Rules

• 1 -or- 2 ATCs for 1 partner, extras not necessary but not actively discouraged

• standard ATC rules: 2.5" x 3.5", sturdy backing, send in a protective sleeve. Please include the swap name, your username, and the date on the back. I think it's also fun to sign them/receive them signed, but this is not required. If you do not sign, please write your first name and last initial as well.

• make sure the deities themselves are hand-made by you in some way. Any medium is acceptable, and the background can include collage elements, be totally hand-drawn, etc. Please take your time and make something you'd like to receive!

• portrait or landscape orientation are both acceptable

• 4 weeks to create and send, though because this is not profile-based, you may start early and ship it out once you have your partner!

• please rate a 5 if the card(s) you receive meet(s) the requirements. Give a heart if you love it.

• if there is any chance your envelope exceeds one ounce or will get classed as a small first class package, please make sure you add sufficient postage. USPS has been cracking down on postage due. Each extra ounce is currently 20 cents. If your envelope is marked as too rigid, it could go up to $4ish, so be careful!

• If you will be late for any reason, please message both me and your partner as soon as you can. I do message swappers who have not sent and not provided explanation. That said, if it's an actual emergency, take care of it and we'll figure it out when you're ready. I will angel but hope I won't have to here (and will ban if it's the case).
