Reversable Purse

I know big bags are very "in" right now, maybe there is a market for this giant style purse. Mothers could put their unruly children right inside to quiet them. Not only tiny dogs could get get carried around the trendy shopping places, but big dogs could get a lift-you know, your german shepherd or doberman would be the new arm candy.

Where is the pattern? I like big purses. So I would want mine the original size. The 200% enlarged size.

I received one of these in a swap and love it. But I am going to add a couple of pockets, I loose my phone and wallet in the bottom! Ive also seen it with a pocket to fold it into to carry in my other bag for no-bag emergencies!

I love this purse and love making purses as well! My fav colors: jewel tones with metallic. Is it okay if we add inside pockets? They are so nice to have.

While I have no problem with the pockets, I am wondering, doesn't that make them non-reversible?

I received a shopping bag in another swap. It was reversible & had a couple of pockets on both sides. It works quite well. Signing up...

It is totally up to each person if you want to add a pocket. It doesn't call for one. So it is up to each partner to add it if they would like too. Hope this helps. I have also taken the templet for the purse to staples to have the pattern enlarged. Or where ever you can take it do this.

I've made this style of purse before and made the long strap long enough to be a shoulder bag. It worked great.

Made my model - It's really adorable. I may have to try it at a slightly larger scale or try @superstitches ' idea and make the long strap longer.

I love all colors! Would prefer bright colors for the summer tho but I'm not picky.

what are the correct dimensions? I want to make sure I have the 200% right?!?

I would love Jewel Tones and also like metallics! Pockets are great too if you want to add.

dmarie, the pattern should be about 17" from the top of the longer handle to the very bottom of the bag, and about 12 1/2" across at the widest part of the bag (about 4" up from the bottom).

I like black and white, ocean blue, or light pink.

i managed to get the pattern enlarged so i'm joining. i don't mind what colour you do but i don't want anything that is metallic. something summery would be nice

I found my pattern! I would like a cheery, happy bag.

I would love spring colors if possible. I would really like yellow to be incorporated into it. Just a suggestion, I would be happy with anything anyone sent me.

Poop! I mailed mine and forgot to take a photo - hate when I do that! lol

I'm waiting for the fabric to arrive (was sent 20th june) so hope will reach me soon. Contacted the hoster and my partner, don't panic!! ^_^

I received mine today. My partner was upset because the copy shop didn't enlarge it properly, but it's absolutely adorable - perfect size for needlework projects. I'll post a pic on my flickr.
