With the release of the new book AND movie coming soon, I've got a bit of Harry Potter fever. I thought we could all make something for each other in celebration! Handmade Harry Potter: What I mean is that you need to make something that has to do with Harry Potter. Some ideas are a knit scarf in house colors, stationary with a house crest or a stuffy of Hedwig. Be creative! Your handmade item must cost min. $10 or 2-3 hours of work. I hate setting a cost because I don't want it to be taken advantage of, but please make your package something you would like to receive. You can include extras, like Harry Potter candy, but you don't have to. This is an International swap. It is open to swappers with ratings of 4.7 or above. Sorry to all honest newbies! With the date pushed back so far you can try to get ratings before the swap starts. Thanks to all who join, this should be fun!

I just wanted to share that the owl in the pic is Errol. I met him at the Sundance Film Festival - he's much nicer looking in real life and really sweet!

I think it depends on your craft, what you like to do. I like to knit and spin, so I might make a scarf in school colors or even yarn if I get a knitter for my partner. If you sew, you could make a stuffy of one of the characters. Or even lotion or lip balm called the forbidden forest that smells how how would imagine it would. I think it could be anything because it doesn't necessarily have to do with one of the main characters or house colors. There's brooms and port keys and house elves. But keeping in mind that it should remind the receiver of the books/movies. Hope this helps :)

I've got the perfect thing I can use for this swap, if I am allowed. It's a pre-printed piece of fabric. It needs to be finished off as a small quilt/blanket or wallhanging.
