Description:

This is now a monthly swap

IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST ROUND:

Choose a card. A card that you think people would enjoy seeing (however, PLEASE DO NOT USE EXTRA LARGE POSTCARDS THAT WILL REQUIRE EXTRA POSTAGE) Put your name and address (including the country) on the right hand side of the card. Put the title of the swap "Postcards Traveling Around the World #" and your screen name at the top of the left hand side. PUT IT IN AN ENVELOPE and send it off to your partner.

IF YOU PARTICIPATED IN A PREVIOUS ROUND:

Just write your name/user name, city, state/country, date, and the round number on the left hand side of the postcard you received in the previous round.

Put it into an envelope and send it to your partner!

PLEASE NOTE: Do not write your entire address on the postcard- This takes up too much space

Hang on to the postcard(s) you receive each round. We will have another round each month. Sign up when you receive yours from the previous round. When the left side of the postcard is full with the names and cities of those that have received the postcard, the last person will stamp your actual postcard and send it back to you.

Important

If you get a card sent by the first sender and are matched in a new round with them, hold on to that card until the next round to send to a new partner. Send a new card to the partner in the current round

Please don't send more than 2 cards per round. Hang on to the extra ones and send them in following rounds. If you have too many, please contact me and I will get them back in rotation.

If you are always late in sending you might not be allowed into the next swaps Out of courtesy to your partner please notify them if you run into sending issues.

IF YOU NEED TO DROP FROM THIS SWAP PLEASE BE SO KIND TO CONTACT ME FOR MY ADRESS TO SEND YOUR CARDS BACK. THIS WAY I CAN KEEP THEM CIRCULATING

Just to make sure, I have gotten @aubreybeardsley s postcard from round 76,

do I write my details i.e Ryan R,/planetearthstars30/ Staffs UK, 20th June 23, and then send it to my next partner for this round?. Thank you.

Inez 06/20/2023 #

Yes you do! But make sure the postcards you send to the next person are not from the person. Unless you are the last one writing on the absolute bottom of the postcard

Planetearthstars30 06/20/2023 #

OK, thank you for confirming this for me.

I have received a postcard that is too big for all the envelope sizes I have. I will try to find one to fit it in but please folks, use standard sized postcards. TYVM! Looking forward to # 78! Thank you for taking over this swap, MarHelene, I apprecite it.

Hi there, the person who sent me the cards last round, is my partner for this swap. Do I just start a new card, or send these back to them and their names will be written twice on the pc's ?

Inez 07/ 4/2023 #

I@journalingrachel i have written my name also twice once, so i don't think it is a problem

@texydeb i totally agree!

MarHelene 07/15/2023 #

@texyDeb I'll make the remark about only standard size bold in the description.
