So what’s a Tzitzit? It’s a Hebrew word for Tassels in the book of Numbers 15:37–41. It’s also mentioned in the book of Deuteronomy as “cords”.

What do you do with them? You wear them!

How do you wear them? On the four corners of your outer garments. Since most of us don’t have four cornered garments today, we can still wear them on the hem of our tops, dresses, pants, etc. Some wear two together on either side of the hem at their hips while others wear them separately two in front and two in back.

Why? So that whenever we look at them we’ll be reminded to walk in YHWH’s ways and not act, or react according to our ways. On a personal note, whenever I wear mine at my sides my hands gravitate toward them and when I hold them I’m reminded who I belong to and it gives me so much comfort and peace being reminded that I don’t walk alone.

Sender must make 4 tassels. You can make them any length you like, within 3-10 inches long. Many make them 8-10 inches. You can use any color, or combination of colors of thread, or floss , or yarn, or fine cordage as long as there is 1 BLUE thread in it, and it does not contain a mixture of wool and linen together. The Father’s requirement, not mine 😉

You can make them plain and simple, or pretty and fancy by adding a bead, or braiding part of them, it’s up to you. Just be sure to leave the bottoms loose as tassels. Most people make a small loop at the top to run a safety pin or fastener through to attach to clothing.

There are many examples of tzitzit on the Internet and YouTube is loaded with tutorials. Some are very complicated and can be daunting. Don’t overthink. Plain serves the same purpose and the goal is to have fun making them.

Please sign up only if you plan to follow through😀 If your partner has not sent to you for unforeseen reason, or it has been lost through the mail, I will Angel you.
