USATC: U Name It - FEB ‘24

1/25/2024 This will be the final installment of the "U Name It" swap I will host in this group. I intend to leave the group upon successful completion of this swap.

In the words of the famous author, Mark Twain, "[t]here's no such thing as a new idea", so please free to continue coordinating variations of the swap at your leisure. I imagine our late founder would like that very much!

USATC: U Name It - FEB ‘24

This swap idea is similar to the USAPC: 3 elements challenge. The difference is that all 3 elements on the ATC created will be “custom” inspired by our partners’ comments below.

• In the DISCUSSION SECTION BELOW, please list the following (as soon as you sign up. However, if you post below without signing up 1st then I will remove the information for failing to follow instructions. Please follow instructions):

  • A Color
  • A Number
  • A Theme

(example) My partner posts: “ green, three, flowers” so I created an ATC painted in mostly green florals, then added three rhinestones to fulfill the requirements.

Anything additional is up to the sender’s creative discretion, allowing room for artistic interpretation of the ATC elements.

The only caveat to these creative liberties is that we CANNOT include anything that is on our partner’s dislikes list. For example, my profile states that I do not like dolls, so adding one to my ATC will not earn a heart-five rating. Please check partner profile lists beforehand!

NOTE: if you don’t have a list of overt dislikes on your profile page then you’re agreeing to accept anything.

By clicking on the “I agree” button, participants are saying they will:

• Send their ATC in a protective sleeve or sandwiched between sturdy notecard
• Adhere to universal ATC size standards
• Mail the ATC using adequate postage
• Rate their partner promptly upon receipt of the swap; no more than 30 calendar days afterwards
• Make the ATC themselves (sending an ACEO or someone else’s ATC is not acceptable)
• Follow instructions as they are written in this swap description and contact me by direct message if they have any questions
