Bloodrecuted created the "Soooo Sad" swap awhile back that just had us send out sad songs about lost loves and broken relationships. I got Thatzghetto as a partner who mentioned that she'd like to see a swap that gets into the bitter songs that come after the sad. So here it is. From the Isle of Swap, and from my wonderful music store, Sound~Waves, I'm putting out a mix CD swap for the other break-up songs. Those that aren't necessarily sad, but rather they're bitter or just represent those who have finally moved on. As an idea for an added bonus (and a possible way to get hearts), if you have a song of which there's a great video, include a place where they can go see the video too. Music videos are great! http://www.vh1.com is a great place to look and see if you can find videos. I understand YouTube is another good place too. This isn't a necessity, just a suggestion. Rules! -You will make one CD to send to two partners. That's two CDs total, but obviously, they can be the same CD. -No more than 2 songs from the same artist. -This is an international swap. CDs are cheap to send, even internationally! -Please make sure they get packaged pretty well, especially if you're sending internationally. -Newbies are welcome, but only with a reasonably filled profile. It doesn't take that much time, and yes, I get to determine reasonable. -If you have a no-send, you have to message me and give me a good reason why you have it. If you have two or more, I'm sorry, but it will be very hardpressed for you not to get banned. -Ratings... ratings... 4.0 and above for this one. I think that's it! Some of these songs are really great, so enjoy looking for them.

Convingltlbtch, yup! That sort of song would be perfect. Any song that's taunting, just glad to be rid of the person, or just a statement of how you've moved on and are stronger from it, all of those work.

Oh, I've got masses of songs that would fit into this category - but alas, I can only make tapes, not CDs sniffle Have fun with your swap anyway, I'd love to see everyone's tracklists :-)

Is there a minimum number of songs to include? 10, 12, 15? I have so many songs that would work perfectly for this in my collection, going to start mine this weekend I think!

I don't think I have enough songs to quite make the whole cd, so I won't join, but here's a universal contribution:

"Happy For You" by Saving Jane and "Take Me Away" by Plain White Ts

Those are kind of "I miss you" songs, not so much bitter; but I like them nonetheless. I wish I had more becuase there is definitely some ex-related bitterness here.

The requirement is to fil an 80 minute CD as much as you can. So 15-20 songs should be pretty much perfect. ::nods::

Chrisondra and Gayle Schoen, your CDs arrived this weekend. Awesome mixes!

I have to laugh, you both used a number of songs I did (or that I was considering but didn't make the final cut, I could have done 2 or 3 CDs), but you both used "Lucky 4 You" by SheDaisy, and thats one I was considering using too. Guess great minds think alike. ;D
