Description:

Hello washi tape lovers.

WHAT YOU ARE SENDING

You're sending six washi tape samples of 20 inches (or about 50 cm). Which, on a regular playing card, wrap the tape around five or six times. Use a nonsticky surface like playing cards or defunct gift cards.

The theme is sender's choice but the sender has to coordinate them so the four washi tapes can be used together in a design for a letter, journal entry, or however one uses it.

Sender decides on the theme based on their own collection.

For example, the theme can be "winter forest" and include forest creatures as one of the washi or a solid dark green washi. Doesn't have to have trees but works with the theme.

Protip: pick one washi tape and then match the other ones to that one design.

Share any design you'd like but double-check your partners' profiles for preferences.

Include a note about your selection. Explain a little.

You'll have one partner for this international swap.

RATING AND REMINDERS

To receive a 5 rating, you are sending six washi tapes of 20 inches (or 50 cm) of a theme of your own choosing and a short note about your selection or theme.

  • Swap for the love of swapping, not ratings, hearts, or comments. If you wish to send extras, that is up to your discretion.
  • Postal systems are like people. Some will be fast and some will be slow. Others are on time. If you haven't received your mail yet, send a message to the sender before losing your patience and rating a 1.
  • Always include the swap name and your id.
  • If there's anything else, send me a message.

Thank you.

If a playing card is 2.5”, one time around would be 5” and 4 times around would be 20” ???

There are these crazy little playing cards I've seen people use to wrap washi tape around. They make me laugh because in my head I keep seeing a group of Las Vegas professional poker players using these little cards! BWAAA!

@TishaAnn You're right! I was thinking of the surface only on one side. Whoops. I mathed wrong there. Or my spatial calculations were just 2D, not 3D. Thank you for letting me know. I changed it.
