Vintage Book Page Tag Pocket with Ephemera

I saw these really cute tag/pockets made from vintage book pages on Pinterest, and really wanted to make one. It was an easy and fun project so I thought it would make a great swap for our group.

You will create one tag - minimum size 3 X 5 but you can go larger. You will add a pocket to the front of your tag, and both tag and pocket should be made of vintage book pages. You can decorate the outside of your pocket if you like, but the samples I saw were just made with the vintage paper and no other adornments. But you do you!

The paper I used was fairly thin and a bit brittle, so I backed it with some copy paper to give it more strength. When I had completed the tag and pocket, I sewed around the edges with my sewing machine, but this is not a requirement. I just liked the way it looked!

Then the fun part: fill the pocket with as many little bits and pieces of ephemera as you can fit in it. I used old stamps, pieces of vintage paper and tickets, a TH paper doll, an old photo, etc. Just use whatever you have at home.
