Description:

OK, so we did a free topic and we did some figure drawing and we touched the animal kingdom (well, insects kingdom) so I thought we should try a still life next. But I really hate those paintings of fruit baskets and droopy fabrics, so instead - give this a shot:

Choose one of those room \ places in your house:

Bathroom - kitchen - wardrobe - garden - purse (I walk around with a huge backpack which is as big as a room in an average house.

Pick 5 objects from that room \ place, they can be big as a chair or a tree or small like a toothbrush or a pair of shoes - whatever have an interesting shape and makes you feel like drawing.

Draw \ paint 5 postcards - yes this is a drawing challenge and most of the postcard should be hand painted \ drawn. you can use other techniques in moderation.

Sent to 5 different people - receive 5 postcards from 5 people.

Fun, easy, challenging.

I got 2 of the insects postcards yesterday and they are beautiful!

ho, I always forget this one - newbees are welcome, people with less then 4 rating will be ban.

This sounds like fun, what size should the postcards be?

I'm done with mine and sent them out today - you can take a look at my flickr page or in the swap gallery.

Mine are done and will be in the mail tomorrow. I posted them on my Flickr page too.

Aya, will you be doing another postcard challenge? I've enjoyed your themes so far.

Postcards are on their way to Aya Rosen, Drewzel, Rain, Anayari, and Gypsy Song.

Great postcard received today from our host, Aya Rosen. Thanks, Aya! Love the Altoid tin! (In fact, I like the tins better than I like the mints!)

I received a pretty "still" landscape from Cupcake today. A lively little water color postcard, very nice.
