Not a lot of the teabags in my area are sealed =(

On my watchlist! :)

I have the same problem, teabags here come in paper wrapping :'(

I know many people have the same problem, but unfortunately, many people also will not accept anything that isn't sealed. Perhaps you could set up a private swap with each other, if neither of you mind teas that aren't sealed? (Just trying to offer up a solution!) :)

I'm doing many teaswaps and we all always send our teas in a paper wrapping and it always goes right. And if there is a tea without a wrapper then swappers seal it y themself. If paper wrappers were also allowed I really would love to join. It is a very nice swap idea.... :-((

I wrap everything I send in plastic before sending so it's clean and fresh to receive. I've done teas waps before and it never was a problem.
I really hope you change your mind about the wrapping so we can join this nice swap.

what do you mean by sealed anyway?

If this will help some USA swappers, I get my individually wrapped single serving size tea bags in many of the "bulk" foods sections of grocery stores. Also check gift and specialty stores. Hope that helps!

I consider that sealed. Its wrapped individually and glued shut. Thats different from just grabbing a teabag out of your box at home and tossing it in an envie. I figure if thats how the stores sell it, thats how I can send it.

oh and not to sound cranky or anything, just want this swap to go well because I love tea swaps. If your country doesn't allow us to send you tea I would suggest either letting us know so we could send something else or not signing up. (sorry Australia!) I personally would be ok with just sending tea related items rather than actual tea to those countries so they could still participate.

Hello, everyone... sorry for the delay in getting back to you all... the reason I say sealed bags is because a lot of people will not drink anything sent loosed or withour wrappers... mostly for sanitary purposes. I really think it is best to leave it as a swap for individually wraped/sealed bags,
