Decorate Your Own Box

This is for an altered & decorated box of some sort. Change it and decorate it as you will. I am making this senders choice for those of us who need extra time, so we can start working on our piece before partners are assigned. Of course, if you want to wait for your partner and then make something just for them, then please feel free to do so, but it isn't a requirement of the swap.

However, I would like to clarify what we can use for our box. I do Not want any matchboxes, altoid tins, whimsey jars/baby food jars. There are a whole host of swaps for those items. This is for something else. Think cigar boxes, coffee cans, hat boxes, lunch boxes, etc. I found a couple wooden jewelry boxes at a garage sale that would be perfect to alter somehow. Lots of things we use come in sturdy boxes that could be altered, or boxes with unusual shapes would be excellent.

You will have one partner to make a fabulous box for. Anyone in the group can join, but I will check profiles before assigning partners. I hate to ban anyone from a swap, but I will if I need to. This is a big committment, so please don't sign up if you unless you can follow through. Happy Swapping.
