In this swap you'll send 20 pieces of paper to 1 partner

You should send pieces at least 4x6inches or 10x15cm big (the size of a postcard) with a nice pattern. Please send nice papers people may use in their art (ATC, fbs, Deco's, card making) like scrapbook paper, origami paper or wrapping paper.

No plain card stock! Only 2 or 3 with the same design or all different.

Handmade paper is ok, as long as it has a nice pattern.

NOTE ADDED - to be more clear, the types of paper allowed are those that are made to be used in crafts or that somehow you may use in crafts (like the wrapping papers). It's not any kind of paper, as napkins, tissues, magazine or newspaper clippings. But please, feel free to ask if you have any question

No magazine or newspaper clipping, but you may send them as an extra if you think they are interesting enough to your partner use in his/her art.

This swap in international. Newbies are welcome, but only with a filled profile.

~Happy swapping everyone!~

Yay ! Watching until closer... definitely joining this though !

Hullo! Brand-new to this site; have filled out my profile to give other artists an idea of me and my style.

Canadian homeschooling mother/local artist/ESL instructor living overseas in Korea, have access to lots of cool Asian papers, from origami (exactly like the ones featured in the image, btw) and patterned papers, metallics, hanji (handmade mulberry with inclusions), and more. Would be looking for anything in warm tones, vintage/retro, other languages, baroque, victorian, european, female characters, fonts...

Oh, and I would be happy to swap with more than one person for this trade, as I have plenty of papers on-hand and have done ephemera trades overseas before!

Hi Masterbard, this swap has one partner only, so you won't be able to swap with more than one person here. Maybe you could join other swaps or make private swaps with someone interested. ;)

Masterbard 09/ 6/2009 #

Sure, thanks for letting me know. I've got my envelope all ready for my partner, plus three more - so I wait for an address from this swap, and then I could just post 'Three one-to-one paper swap' in the appropriate forum, right? Don't want to violate any forum etiquette!

Muna 09/10/2009 #

does pearl paper count??

ErikaM 09/10/2009 #

ummhussein, any paper is ok, as long as it has a pattern or design and people may use them in their art. Thanks for asking :)

Muna 09/11/2009 #

cool. I am so READY for this swap and so EXCITED

Thanks erkmd

wonder if a patterned paper tissue counts too?

ErikaM 09/11/2009 #

ion, what is a "paper tissue"? I'm sorry I never heard about it. But please keep in mind that your partner will use these paper when making atc, decos and decorating cards, for example.

ErikaM 09/11/2009 #

Hi, you mean this "Tissue paper"? If so, it's not allowed.

ion 09/12/2009 #

yes like that, but with patterns and designs on them, - like this for example . you can do many creative stuff with them, eg they are the perfect thing for decoupage. i have some to spare, and would like to receive some too.

ion 09/12/2009 #

the link was lost somehow, i wanted you to see this -- http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2125/23248191464dc6dc0a2fo.jpg

ion 09/12/2009 #

hey, how can i post a link so that it would work? try search on google for "printed tissue"

ion 09/12/2009 #

and do you count textured sticker paper in?

ErikaM 09/12/2009 #

ion, I was not thinking about decoupage when I made this swap. Tissue paper is a little bit thin for other crafts, I guess. And no one can guarantee you would receive tissue paper from your partner, so maybe you should look for a more specific swap. If you decide to join this swap, please try to fit your papers into the swap description, ok? I'm sorry I could not open your link...

ion 09/12/2009 #

hey, alright, i wasn't expecting someone necessarily sending me tissue paper, it was just an idea about it - just because i have some that i could spare. but i got your point. thanks for explaining. what about sticker paper then - was wondering about it too?

ErikaM 09/12/2009 #

you got to explain me what's sticker paper because I don't know, sorry...

ion 09/13/2009 #

well it's just like a regular paper sheet, just that you have that thing on the back which you can rip off so you can attach the paper to anything if you want - no need for glue

ErikaM 09/13/2009 #

ion, I know what it is. I think yes, this kind of paper is ok (sticker paper) as long as it's 10x15cm or bigger.

marliese 09/15/2009 #

Yay, so glad this started! I already have my papers picked out for my partner! Such a happy package!
