Before you read the req's here, please understand that this is in response to a swap I read that basically said "keep your expectations low." I received requests for a second elitist swap since folks were so pleased with the first offerings!! ADDITIONALLY, I received some negative comments regarding the first swap. Please keep them to yourself. If you feel the need to make a negative comment, it's probably because you don't meet the requirements. Please don't lash out at me; ask yourself why you don't qualify. This is an Artist Trading Card (ATC) swap. You will send one ATC of your best work to 3 people. There is no theme or specific medium; the only requirement is you do your best and you know what your best is. That being said..... This swap is created in the spirit of quality and superior craftsmanship. Simple Rules: Only swappers with a rating of 5 and ZERO No Sends NO Newbies (sorry, you must establish yourself first). ONLY your best and finest work. And I mean the BEST work you can produce. Publishable work; work that could be framed and hung on a wall in the Louvre! Get it? You're gonna have to work hard for a heart on this one! Check your partners profile to get ideas. * International Swappers are welcomed and encouraged!! * * Three partners; One ATC each * * You will have 3 weeks after the swap closes to send ATC's; so get started *

In the last Elitist ATC swap there was no theme. I ended up reading my swap partners' profiles searching for ideas and themes. I enjoyed working in areas and directions I never would have chosen myself.

The cards I received from my partners were excellent- one in particular had little doors on the front that opened like a shrine, revealing a raven (ravens were listed in my profile- so my partner took the time to get to know me!)If I could have given an extra heart I would have. Count me in for a second round!

Thanks Yarnpunk (excellent username). I'm glad you took the spirit and ran; which was the idea really.

Each participant has 2 partners to whom they send 1 ATC. There is no theme, only that your work be the best you can produce. Check out your partners profiles and create accordingly!
