Bust that Stash!

Summertime is a great opportunity to go through our stash (yarn, beads, fat quarters, whatever) that has been haunting us... maybe the colors weren't what you'd hoped for. Maybe the original recipient turned out to be allergic to wool. Maybe you have extra left over from another project. Maybe you got sidetracked and just never finished a project.

For this swap, we'll be using up some of that stash and making items for our partners. Here are the rules:

1: You will have one partner.

2: This is an international swap.

3: You are not to purchase additional materials unless they are both incidental and necessary (like, one button).

4: You may choose to make whatever you think your partner would like - but for equity they should have a value of at least $5 in original raw materials. For knitters/crocheters, I'm thinking a full skein of yarn is the minimum.

5: Please include in the package both the item(s) you make AND a narrative of the materials - why you originally got them, what else they may have been used for, how you came up with this idea, possibly also the pattern, etc. You get the concept, yes?

6: Newbies with completed profiles and other swappers with at least a 4.5 (and no no-sends) are welcome.
