How To Complete This Swap:

1.Check your partner's profile for things they would like to receive.

2.Select items and package in an envelope.

3.Ensure that your envelope requires no more than one stamp. (Larger package is sender's choice, but not required.)

4.Wait for your partner to tell you they got their Happy Mail!

The entire point of this swap is to make getting the mail FUN! Please help your partner smile when they get their package. :) The intention is to please your partner.

Total value, before postage, should be $1-3 US dollars.

In the case that you can not send them something on their wish list, include a note explaining that and send them something else. FOR EXAMPLE: If they only wish for scrapbooking items, but you don't have any, send them one of your favorite items- like stickers. Even if the swap can't be "personalized", do something for your partner that will let her/him know that you were thinking of them.

For example, to just throw five diecuts, two notecards, and a decorated envie in an envelope is not personal, nor happy-- unless those were VERY specific requests from your partner. It will look thrown together and your partner will know that.

These swaps are meant to be quick and fun. Don't go crazy over it. There should be enough time from partner assignment to the send deadline for you to contact your partner and ask if all else fails. When I go through someone's profile, I make sure there is a wishlist and that I can come up with a decent idea for their envie.

Swap Requirements and Guidelines

-Please take the time to set up a wishlist on your profile. If you are a newbie and need help, please send me a private message and I will help you. :)

-You must sign into Swap-Bot at least two days before partner assignment. If you haven't been on in a few days, I won't have any way to know you aren't going to flake.

-Please add your swap-bot user name and the swap name in the package.

More Information

I'm still new to hosting swaps, so if anyone has any pointers, please feel free to let me know. I plan to host this swap every two weeks. We LOVE to get mail. :)

For reliable swappers, I've also started a group called Happy Mail. Visit here to apply to the group: http://www.swap-bot.com/group/2ffeed2746aa64596c140b38aacc4448/about

As for choosing items, I always prefer a few small items, as opposed to one large item (unless the item is REALLY cool, lol!) It's really up to you what to send in this swap. Participants of this swap (and all the other "Happy Mail" swaps, might want to add their preferences on their favorite packages/envies to receive. For me, the envies that take a few minutes to browse are always the most fun. :)

Please go to my profile @DarbyFlats to see more on why I host, what I think about hearts and such. :)

Hi, all. If anyone who lives outside the US comes across this swap and wants to participate, I'd like you to know that there is an identical swap- Happy Mail #6- that is international. Happy swapping!

Michelle
