No, don't send your dirty laundry...LOL. This a swap to spread the joy that only a funky, fun pair of colorful socks can bring to someone's day. I find it is extremely hard to have a BAD DAY when you are wearing goofy socks. You will have 3 partners for this swap, so keep the price of the socks low. I find that stores will run deals where you can get 3 pairs for $10 or get a variety of 3 in one pack. The cooler thing is, a pair of socks fits nicely in a letter sized envelope and requires NO EXTRA POSTAGE (unless you are sending overseas). A couple of things to keep in mind: 1. Try to get 1 size fits all 2. Try to stay away from gender specific sock patterns 3. The funkier, the better 4. MUST HAVE TAG OR PACKAGE OR SOMETHING SHOWING THEY ARE BRAND NEW NEVER BEEN WORN. REQUIREMENTS: 1. Newbies are welcomed - Because I am a recent newbie and I think everyone deserves a chance. 2. Include a note as to WHY you chose these socks 3. INTERNATIONAL WELCOMED - Because I think it would be VERY interesting to see the FUNKY SOCKS of the WORLD 4. Established Swapers must have a rating of 4 or higher to join. 5. Anyone NOT meeting these extremely laxed requirements will be deleted. 6. To get a Heart or Star, include some extra flare or go a little above and beyond with your note. BRING ON THE SOCKS!

Sorry on the lag of response. Yes you send a pair to each partner. After a lot of thought I reduced it down to 2 partners instead of 3.

If you have the store "5 Below" anywhere near you-they always have cool socks and it's usually 3/$5 or something of that nature. :) Just a hint.

HI Shannybo63 - I went last week to send someone something in a letter envelope and because it was more than 1/4 inch thick it cost me $1.13 instead of .41, that's because if it goes through their auto-cancelling machines, it will get stuck. So to hand process the letter, it costs more.

So I would like to suggest everyone doublecheck on their postage costs before sending because we sure don't want to get them back and have to RE-send them. This is a great swap, thanks for setting up!

I'm on my way to the P.O. to drop off my socks to my partner's - Shannybo63 and denimdrifters.

Unfortunately, I forgot to include the note as to why I picked the socks I did and they're all taped up.

Fortunately, I did include an extra little something so I'll be forgiven for forgetting that aspect of the swap (never missed a requirement before, yikes).

I was so excited that as soon as I had my names this morning I was off to Target to find the socks!

So to both of you, I chose the socks I did because they're fun and they made me smile so I figured they would make you both smile too.
