This swap is for anything a child might enjoy. This could be stickers, pencils, crayons, coloring books, watercolors, a paint-by-numbers, small figurines that can be painted, etc. This package could include age appropriate jigsaw puzzles, candy, toys, cute socks, hair accessories, a child's music CD, small books, videos, bubbles, bubble bath, bath toys, and so on. It would also be nice if you included something homemade in this package, but it is not mandatory. This could be hair accessories, dolls, socks, mittens, cards, pictures, anything you created...except food. Parents can be leery of their children eating food from strangers that is not prepackaged. Everyone will have 1 partner and should send a minimum of 3 items. Some or all of these items can be brand new or from Thrift Stores or Dollas stores. I've noticed the DollarTree has tons of items children would love...and everything costs $1!!! It would not be nice to send just a pack of pencil to your partner. Make these packages something exciting for a child to receive. It would be a good idea to read your partners profile if you need ideas of what to send. Everyone needs to have their child's name, age, and information on what kinds of things they like and things they would not like. | |
