Wish I could remember what was on my other wish list - strange how your wishes change by the day isn't it!!! Not to sound ungrateful but I received a very disappointing package from my swap partner. Items were NOT new - everything was either broken, dirty, or useless. Unfortunately most things had to go straight into the bin! I checked and this is not the first time that this swapper has received negative feedback for sending junk packages. This person has sent used items, poor condition yard sale items, and the like before.

Swappers - for the sake of your partners - please don't sign up for a swap if you can't fulfill the requirements!!! No one expects you to spend a week's salary on a swap but there is a minimum $$ requirement for a reason. There is no way $15.00 was spent on this swap when a person sends pens from a bank, printed magazine articles that are folded to be used as "notecards", etc.

I have only had GREAT experiences on Swap Bot and I try to send a lot of love with every one of my swap packages. Unfortunately I now know what it is like to receive one where little, if no, thought is put into the package.

You do not sound ungrateful, you have every right to feel the way you do. That stuff IS trash and to send it in a used cereal box??? A shoe box maybe, but a cereal box???

I don't see why people who can't afford to actually spend money on their partner, sign up for this stuff. Oh wait, I forgot, it's because they are basically theives and want to get good stuff from THIER partner, but yet send out CRAP to their send-to partner. GRRRRRR! This makes me furious!

I agree -this is terrible. I would be willing to be an angel for sassybird if she needs one.

as Mom2EmmaLanea said, swap items don't have to be expensive - dollar items are great! - but just not unusuable! I agree also that if you can't afford to swap - it does require some funds, then please stick to the handmade swaps where creativity is the highlight of the swap.
