Description:
Calling all artists! Or wanna-be artists! Or newbies! You will create two watercolor ATCs and send them to two different partners. Break out the paints and get creative. These little paintings can be abstract, realistic, modern, or whatever makes you smile. If you don't have watercolor paints, try some food color, natural dyes, or tea. Anything goes. Just make it artistic and have fun! Normal ATC (Artist Trading Card) size is 2.5" x 3.5". I won't hold anyone to this exact size, but if you need direction, here you go. If you work larger, wonderful! If you prefer something smaller, super! Just create! And please don't sign up if you don't intend to create something. That just stinks for everyone, yourself included. Don't forget to label your art with your name (you might be famous some day and we can make money off you!) and the swap name. Swap recipients, be gracious and rate/thank accordingly. Remember that art is subjective, but a handmade gift should be gushed over! There's so much talent here on swap-bot! Spread some love and don't be stingy with the hearts. We're talking original art here. Let's paint!

i found atc sized canvas at joannes...can we use these? i didn't know if there was a rule to thickness of atcs (these are not canvas boards but actual canvas) thanks! :)

Watercolor pencils and canvas are just fine. If anyone is going to be picky about materials, etc., please find another swap to join. This one is all about fun.

OK, so I'm nuts. I've just started doing ATC's and I just bought watercolors and watercolor ATC cards to play with and learn on, so, I may as well combine the two! Looking forward to tackling this one. By the way, WATERCOLOR paper is available in ATC size, I found it at AC Moore!

Oh my, we have such a fun group! I hope Kay and Kath2eggs get each other! How neat that you both love tiny landscapes? I love them too!

And JohnnyDingo, play away! I hope I get you! Nothing better than receiving art. I hope any of you on the fence will join in on our fun. Express yourself without being judged. This swap is all about the art of art.

Finished my 2 "Required" ATC's today and they are the first watercolor ATC's I've ever done. SO, since there is still a LOT of time left, I think I'll make another for each partner. That will increase my chance of making SOMETHING they'll like. LOL!
