5" Paper Charms

So we have been talking about swapping art journal pages in the group forums. In preparations for this, I thought it would be fun to swap background papers for mounting our artful zens. I'll call them "Paper Charms".

Let's swap 5 Paper Charms to 2 partners. They need to measure 5" x 5". When a standard-sized zentangle is mounted on them, 3/4" of background will show all around. Choose heavier papers or cardstock to provide a nice sturdy base for our zens.

The Paper Charms should be various designs. I plan to paint some of my backgrounds and use some rag-rolling or stamping techniques. They can be pre-printed or hand decorated - sender's choice. If hand decorated, be aware that paint and glue can cause even a heavy cardstock to curl. This can be easily corrected by weighting the Paper Charms between a few heavy books for a day or so. Please plan ahead for this, and send what you would like to received in return.

Sidenote: For those of you into ATCs or Inchies, if you decorate an 8-1/2" x 11 cardstock and cut carefully long ways....cut 5" for the charm, 2-1/2 for ATCs and that will leave a 1" strip for Inchies :o)
