"Claim to Fame" USA Postcard Swap

For this swap, you will have two partners and send one naked store-bought postcard to each of your partners (two postcards total). The theme for this swap is “claim to fame” which means your postcard must represent in some way what your area is famous for. Start with your town and see if you can find any cards that show your towns “claim to fame”. If you cannot find one for your town/city try to find a postcard that depicts the nearest famous thing you can. It doesn’t have to be the most famous thing out there just something your area is known for. It could be a place of historical importance, have renowned scenery or industry, be the birthplace of a celebrity, or just the home of the largest pumpkin in Martians County. Find a postcard that showcases your areas fame in some way and on the back tell your partner what your area is known for and the name of your area along with the state. Feel free to tell a little about it, you can even share some interesting facts or tell how it feels to live close to such notoriety.

Remember, you will need two (2) postcards and they are to be store bought (no handmade cards please) and sent naked (stamped & written on, not in an envelope). Also remember to write the swap name and your Swap-Bot ID on the card so your partner can rate you once they get it. If you can’t find a postcard of your immediate area I will allow you to send a state postcard with something your state is famous for but try to stay as local as possible. Sorry, but for this swap I am accepting USA residents only.

Keep to the theme but I encourage you to view your partner’s profiles so you can tailor it to their preferences if you have the opportunity. Newbie’s are welcome with well filled out profiles. Also, no one with any recently unexplained 3’s or 1’s is allowed in the swap. I want no flakers in this swap and I will be checking profiles. I will angel this swap if the need arises. This is the first swap I have hosted so please bear with me if there are any problems and I will do my best to work them out.
