Handmade totebag: CAT

I really want to participate, but my sewing is not too good yet (plus my old sewing machine broke). Could we decorate a canvas tote, or does it have to be made from scratch?

Hi bookwyrmm, it would perhaps be a bit unfair to those who put a lot of time into an all handmade tote but I have no problem taking a vote about it closer to assignmentday. Ok?

have you thought about sewing one by hand? They don't have to be difficult to sew if you cut the fabric a certain way.

well I tried my hand at a tote and I need more practice. lol it IS a ba g but not of the best quality as of yet. Maybe next round for me lol. I love this idea though!

another easy way to make a tote no sewing required....all you need is a t shirt, some matching or coordinating color duct tape and a stapler.........you can make the most unique awesome looking and sturdy tote out of this. many tutorials online for it
