It doesn't to me, no. People who can will usually log in more often than that, although I'd definitely listen to reasons for people not doing so since some might have had computer problems or some such thing.

Seems fine to me. Even when I was on vacation, I logged in and sent a few postcards to Swap-bot swappers . . . but then, I had great internet access.

I am highly allergic to cats!

Also, I cannot have items with aspartame nor saccharin in them.. so please don't send those.

I wish I could join this one, I enjoyed the last one a lot! Just a note re: the 5-days-prior log-in rule...keep in mind that just because someone doesn't log in often doesn't always mean that they are inactive or bogged down in life. I certainly understand (and commend!) the need for caution - one of the traits which makes you such a great host!

However, I, for one, may not "log in" for a week at a time. I do check in every day or so, to see what's new on the forums and swaps and such. But having cut back on my swaps for a number of reasons, I often don't need to actually log in. I'm still here a lot, and I do my very best to be a conscientous swapper. Also, I just took a 10-day holiday where I was nowhere near a computer; I did take care that my swaps coming due were sent out in time, etc. I'm sure I'm not nearly the only person in this situation.

Again, this is just something to keep in mind...good luck with this swap, hopefully I'll be able to participate in the next one!

I am very excited about participating in this swap. I wish I knew who my partner was already so that I could start hunting for special goodies. I guess I'll just have to chill for a while. The anticipation will make it more fun!

I don't think I will make twenty five hearts for a loong time. I manage however to spoil each and everyone of my partners regardless of the swap or the swapper. I was having my doubts about a recent swap, I did not know if I wanted to join with the amount of newbies, the money and time etc. and because of not feeling reciprocated for certain swaps in the past. After talking to a few people I thought, Nah, I will continue to join swaps that truly interest me and treat each swapper exactly like I would like to be treated.

oh snap! you should have mentioned that this was a private swap somewhere in the swap description. I got so excited then shot down. Oh well.

Hmm, the instructions used to say to PM the coordinator for the password. I bet she edited that out by accident.

I tried to join then got the private swap message i have 37 hearts.I dont understand if its a private swap why doesnt it say so

I have realized that I am rather hard to buy for.

To that end, I'd suggest my partner ask me a few questions unless they automatically know what to buy. There is also a reason I don't have a list of likes and dislikes in my profile, but it's unrelated.
