Goddess of the Month Round 3

This month's goddess is a Chakra Goddess

I think we can all use some chakra balancing!

The finished block will be 9" that includes a 1/2" seam allowance. This will leave plenty of allowance for a creative canvas.

The Chakra Goddess will be an applique design on the block.

You can place the goddess wherever you like within the block, just not in the seam allowance!

The goddess should be between 5-7" tall. You will need to show her whole body (standing, or sitting, or laying down or however, but each of the chakras must be visible!!). To represent the chakras in the correct places with the correct colours check this chart

NOTE You can create French knots in the appropriate places or use small appliques of fabric (just no beads or sequins) or fabric markers maybe?? You can recreate the symbols of the chakras or just use colours or however you want to represent them, but must be the SAME colours in the CORRECT places.

You can use any fabric for the body and the chakras.

The background fabric can be any colour but must be 100% cotton. You can decorate the background however you like--just no dangly bits that could come off in the wash.

Try to remember to sign the block or place your maker's mark on the block so it's visible when the block is pieced into a larger quilt

Rules on joining

You must have a good rating of 4.9 or higher. No 1s or 3s within the past 3 months. If you feel you've been incorrectly or unfairly rated and want to join, please contact me so we can discuss it first.

You must have 10 mailed/package swaps completed. If you don't have enough but want to join, please post below and perhaps someone will be willing to do a private trade with you!

I'll be doing multiple goddess swaps, so drop when you need to and join as often as you can!!
