Guitarists-to-be Swap

It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock n' roll.... =)

As I'm trying hard to learn how to play a guitar, I thought it could be fun to meet other guitarists-to.be and share tips and ideas... Beginners or not, you're welcome to join this swap!

You will have 1 partner and you should send:

• a short introductory note about you; it hasn't have to be long, you can just write something about you, how did you start playing, who you like listening to, tips for beginners and so on;

• 2 picks

• 3 songs for your partner to try. It would be great if they could be BOTH the music sheet AND the tabs; if you don't need (or can't use =P) both, you can tell in the comments section that you'll be happy with just one of them, and which one. If the songs you want to send are more than 3 pages each long, you can send just the most important parts of it (so, you don't have to send more than 9 pages, unless you want to of course! =)) Try to include different levels of difficulty, so that your partner will probably have something suitable and something challenging. If you're familiar with those and want to, you can share tips & advices, or an explaination about the song and how to play it, chords required and so, but it's not a MUST do: you should rate your partner a 5 even if s/he doesn't do all this extra-work.

• 1 guitar-related gadget (e.g. keychain, postcard, pin, memo-pad,or something useful for a guitarist).

REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN: You should have at least 10 completed swaps and no 3s or 1s to join this; if you don't still have 10 completed swaps, please contact me before joining. I reserve the right to ban anyone who looks suspicious.
