In light of recent problems with journal round robins, postage costs etc., and I don't own any of my own art any more. I would like to start a swap of scans of work we are doing for ourselves. This is how it would go. We each buy ourselves a really nice art journal. One that would be perfect for whatever type of art you prefer to do or experiment with. The kind you never buy for yourself but always wanted to. When done this journal will be something you will keep. Each month do a double faced page in this journal. At the end of the month send digital scans and a small write up of what we did and why. Send it in e. mail. No postage cost, if lost it can easily be resent. In a few months we have a really nice journal of our own to keep and show off. This will be a monthly swap so if you need to sit out a month no problem. I would like to set it up so we send to everyone in a given monthly swap. At the end of the sign up period I will set the number of partners to however many actually sign up. I figure it would probably be 6 or so based on previous swaps. This way we get to see lots of pages, get to know each other and maybe learn from each other. Any questions please ask. The Glitch is mine. I didn't edit the swap soon enough and Swap-bot didn't catch my change before assigning partners. Please everyone post your e. mail address here.

I'm thinking you might have to PM the others so we can get their emails? (lefroggy) is my assigned partner already.

What file format should we send the journal page as (PDF, JPG)?Should it to be high resolution (300 dpi) so someone can print it out or just low res (72 dpi) so they can just view it on the screen? Thanks. Sorry about all the questions.

A medium resolution should be sufficient, most everyone can read a JPG. I use a Mac. and I don't have a problem with files from PCs as long as its not a Microsoft Word file.
