Foods for little dudes!!

I don't have a child, nor have any of the children I've cared for long term been quite this young, so I don't about good weaning foods and won't be joining this swap BUT I just wanted to comment on what a neat and practical idea I think this is for a swap, and say that I hope you do get lots of people signed up for it.

in the US they dont recomend babies have anything other than breastmilk/formula until after six months. And then to start slowly with rice cereal and strained vegetables/fruits. I have lots of recipies for babies when they start eating real food at a year old...

The national recommendation here changes all the time, when my older children were younger it was 3 months and when my 6yr old was a baby it was 4 months and now it's 6 months. My son was quite heavy born and is now just 4 months and is looking for something more, so thought I would do this swap to see what interesting recipes/foods there were globally x

it is very interesting idea, I have 6month old and 4year old and the recommendation had changed a lot, especially this year they came up with many changes . In our country when the child has good weight and is breastfed there is only milk from his mum till 6months, the babies on the bottle milk has starting after end of 4month to ear vegetable . I cant join i think as my baby has potential on alergy,so we have to try very carefully what to give her.
