Share Your Story

We created this group for mutual support. A member requested today that I add an "Our Stories" discussion to the group forum. I thought that was a great idea and did so. :) You are welcome to post your story any time!

To get us interested in each other I'm creating a swap for sharing each of our particular family stories.

We will each have 1 partner to mail a story of our family to either 2-3 handwritten pages or 1-2 typed, space and a half pages.
Please include a small momento with your story: an ATC, cheery blank notecard, bookmark or a small gift inspired by your partners portfolio-anything you think would make them smile.

Suggested story topics:

1. Our family unit..(mom, dad, kids, grandparents, significant role models)
2. Our challenges.
3. Dark days (optional)
4. Hope for the future

Once you have shared your story with a partner and recieved a rating (confirming that they have received your swap I invite you to post your story - edited if you wish - in the Our Stories section of this groups forum for others to read. You may just be the catalyst to inspire others.

I'm going to give a full 2 weeks from swap close date to mail date so we have time to draft and compose our stories and to decide what we want to share and what we want to keep private.

pm me if you have suggestions between now and the close date. I'll check for ratings and block anyone with unexplained 1's or 3's.
