I have a question to ask if possible? See today someone that wanted vintage cardssent to him in a swap I was in with him, got mad at me becuase he said that the vintage pcs I sent to him that were 3-1/2x5-1/2 were too small, & that all pcs vintage too are 4x6. So if by any chance I get him, in this swap again, can you by any chance put the sizes they should be? Sorry ,I have NEVER EVER seen vintage pcs that are 4x6, only the size I mentioned earlier! The way I see it, if its not mentioned in the swap guildelines, "you get what you get & DONT throw a fit!!!" If you want to know who this is, pm me. I'll let you know.

But anyways when it gets closer to date I WILL be signing up for the swap

@BBQ don't you think reproductions of vintage cards are 4x6 but the authentic vintage cards are mostly 3-1/5 x 5-1/2?

Ive never seen reproductions of vintage cards so Im not sure mamajoy.

You know, like the old coca cola girl, WWII poster cards, repo's of old ephemera.

How does one know if the postcard is vintage? I have one I think is vintage, but I'm not sure. There is no date on it. It is 3 1/2 by 5 1/2. The printing on the back is in a different font than the other pcs I have. Thanks in advance!

well, the guy that got mad about the size of the card ,said hewantedreal vintage pcs that are 4x6, NOT reproductions!

That guy was wrong Vintage cards are 3x5 or there abouts. ( although some 4x6 cards could be considered vintage.

I have vintage PC's in both sizes. "Vintage" means from a past period. If you're wanting them from a certain date, please specify. I have lots of old PC's from different periods.

Hmmmm ... interesting. I always thought the vintage pc's were the 3-1/2x5-1/2" size. I have plenty of those. And I also have the WWII poster pc's which are 4x6 &, while I never thought of them as vintage, it did not occur to me that they're reproductions (duh!).

My vintage pc's (the few I have) are the small 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 too.

Anyhoo, I'd like mine sent Nekkid! :p

Going back over my comments, I think I meant vintage subject matter (reproduction), although I have a 4x6 pc from the 50's or so, and is in my mind, vintage.
