Private group swap. Please do not contact me for an invitation. Hail, O Goddesses of Craft! Welcome to the 12 days of Craftivus! I've been inspired by advent christmas swaps. Same idea, smaller scale. You will send to your partner 12 Crafty gifts to be opened during the month of December. At least 7 of the 12 gifts must be handmade by you, if you can swing all 12 then even better. Any gift that is not handmade must be a Craft Supply Item. They don't have to be huge projects - shrines, magnets, notecards, small bag, etc. Nor do the craft supply items need be huge - a bag of buttons, spool of ribbon, tube of paint, etc. No ATC's, please, otherwise, what you send is your decision, as you will be the one crafting your awesome creations. Let your partner peruse your profile, your Flickr, get a feel for you, and surprise you! Anyone joining this swap should be open to receiving Complete & Utter Crafty Surprises. Price range - perhaps a $20 value. Just send your best, quality work made with quality materials. Many of us have craft supplies by the roomful, so the real cost will just be your time and postage. Do list below if you have any noteworthy allergies (ie: wool). Please wrap each gift attractively, individually, numbered in order you wish them to be opened (1 through 12) upon receiving. Packages must be mailed by December 12th. You have just 3 months to create and parcel it up! If your partner is international, please adjust your crafting and mailing time accordingly. Note: this is not a "12 Holiday-Themed Crafty Gifts Swap", this is a "12 Crafty Gifts At This Holiday Time Of Year" swap. This is why I called it the 12 Days of Craftivus and not the 12 Days of Christmas - Hanukkah - Kwanzaa. Meaning it's not about holidays of any kind, though if your partner's profile indicates they would welcome, say, Christmas Tree Ornaments, then by all means, make her some! | |
