Wednesday Club Swap - August-September

For August/September, you get one partner name, & another member will get your name. So you will each have those two partners through August/September, or forever, if you like.

After the first week, you will send them each a card every Wednesday. You tell them about your day’s activities, what you are reading, making, swapping, cooking, just your regular Wednesday life. As you start getting to know your partners, you can also respond to what they have written, too, or ask questions about something they wrote that you would like to know more about, as you do with the other people in your life. We are your Wednesday friends.

Sign-ups through Sunday, 8/15, then our first partners’ names will go out on Monday, & you send your partner a card on Wednesday, 8/18, (and every Wednesday until September 29).

Write your address on your first postcard, that way your partner will get your address so they can write to you on Wednesday, August 25, for the first time. If your address is in the Address thread, let them know, otherwise make sure you send it to your second partner so that they will have it for the next week.

Then, beginning August 25, you will send both partners a postcard each Wednesday. You will be able to get to know your partners better, as you will be writing to the same partners each week. You may decide that you want to write them every Wednesday till the end of the year, or beyond. Or you may decide to say good-bye, thank you, that was fun. Both are acceptable.

PS – and if for one reason or another, you decide to discontinue sending your postcards out each Wednesday (before September 29) to these partners, please PM me, and/or them, perhaps we can get them a new friend to angel the rest of this partnership. Same goes if you don’t hear from your partner after a reasonable amount of days, you know how the mail is sometimes, but sometimes things happen to people, and in friendship, we ought to be understanding. We can angel the Wednesday Club friendships. Everyone who participates in Wednesday Club will receive friendly postcards, you just have to let me know.
