APC for Me (Altered Playing Cards) edited INT

I am interested in doing a whole deck, maybe doing 2 or 3 per swap to cut down on postage... just my opinion as you can easily post 3 ATC/APCs for the price of one :)

I like @neca84 's idea too. I would say you could definitely do 3 per swap. I've been wanting to try these too but not wanted to do the whole deck straight away. Thanks for hosting @mizvicky :)

A whole Deck would be great. I was actually running a whole deck in my group, and we were able to get away with 4 cards per envie for 1 stamp. ^^

Also, you just need to leave ONE corner with the number and suit visible. We had alot of fun with the ones that we made last time, and it was with a theme. If we wanted to do some more of these swaps, we can work with themes too! ^^

I was thinking that if we do 4 cards at a time we could do one of each number - like the 3 of spades, 3 of hearts, 3 of clubs and 3 of diamonds. I take it that they aren't supposed to be 'chunky' are they? So you could conceivably use them as a deck of cards.

After this one, I am going to run a Swap for the whole deck, doing 4 at a time..

This may be an odd swap with JUST this one card,but I wanted to get a "feel" for it..

I know some have dropped out of this swap because they are waiting for the one for the entire deck and did not have just ONE random card to part with..

If you would rather wait for the next swap, PM me and I wil understand..

If the majority of you want the other swap, I will delete this one and post the new one.. Will NOT hurt my feelings..

@sweetypiedie Yes, thats how I did them in my group, we did one number every swap. But normally APCs are kept and cared for as works of art, not normally played with.

@mizvicky : I wouldn't mind doing this swap as well as the whole deck. I do have some odd and end playing cards around my house. But like you said, if the majority of the swappers drop, lemme know and I will wait for the whole deck ones to start! ^^

think I will keep this one up.JUST because I am wanting to "play" before I do a deck..ya know?? LOL

@rayfancy - oh I know what you mean. I would never really want to play with them. I might frame them though, once I got a whole deck. Do people usually just alter the number/suit side or the back as well? Would be hard to frame if one pretty side wasn't showing. :)

@mizvicky - I'm definitely wanting to 'play' before we start the regular swaps too.

Normally people only decorate the front of them. The back is where you are to put the "Made by_____" to sign your work. ^^
