I set the rating to 3.5 or higher, so unrated newbies will find it hard to join. I would suggest glancing through some of the really great email swaps that are available on Swapbot and see which ones you like. If you join two or three and get rated for those before the 4th, you are more than welcome to join. Hope that helps! :)

My main loves are mysteries (anything from Agatha Christie to Kathy Reichs and back) & fantasy/sci-fi. If anyone has an old Star Wars book hanging around I'll more than welcome it!

Question - I like the idea of this however am slightly concerned. If I don't have a book that my partner has listed, then do I have to buy them one?

I like reading self-help /psychology books, and non fiction for example travel, cultures & autobiographies...etc... I'm not too keen on novels (chick lit, mystery, horror or science fiction).

Teemnis--It's less of a specific book and more of a genre. For instance, I like romance and biography, travel, autobiographies, and history. Fiction in general. There is a very good chance that you will have one of the aforementioned genres. :) Part of the fun is that it is going to be a surprise. Don't feel that you have to buy a book--you don't. We're only swapping those we already have.

I would love any fiction book at all.

I love the idea! :) I enjoy Memoirs, Self-help /psychology, Non Fiction for example travel, cultures & autobiographies etc... and Fiction Thriller/Crime Books.

I love fantasies, mysteries, horror, and YA, but will read almost anything (not into Western or Sci-Fi that much, though). A link to my Goodreads page in on my profile - and anything listed on my Goodreads page as TBR, I own (but it should give you a good idea of what types of things I read).

I would love a fiction paperback (At the moment i am really into chick-lit especially:)) But a memoir/biography would also be nice.

The only genres I don't read are westerns and sci-fi--as in outer space & aliens--fantasy and horror are fine.

I like mostly historical fiction.
