Description:
This is a simple swap as it is my first as an organizer, and the first in a series. We will be sending 1 handmade Christmas ornament to each of our 2 partners. As for the type of ornament well that's up to you. Use whatever method you feel you are best at, for example sewing, beading, knitting, cross stitch, painting, woodworking, etc. Just make sure it is something of quality, something you would be proud to hang on your own tree. Newbies are welcome, but people that do not have a 4.5 or higher rating will not be permitted. You will have one week to create and send your 2 ornaments. Please be aware if you are sending internationally do not use any plant matter (seed, beans, pinecone, dried or otherwise, etc.) since there have been problems with customs, and we would like everyone to get all of their ornaments. Since many of you will be crafting before hand please refrain from any heavy scents, or religious symbols, as your partner may not be open to them.

dont laugh at a few attempts iv made a few things to hang on tree do we just send 1item becaues there pretty small put will hang on tree lol i dont want anyone saying it small lol so checking it killed me i have problems with my fingers and wrist since i broke it last new years eve its all pinned up. looking forward to this swap

I just realized that the 11th is a federal holiday, so I'm afraid that my ornaments will not be sent until Tuesday the 12th!

I just realized the same thing and logged on to say that it's ok if ppl have to send out on Tuesday. I didn't realize it was a holiday when I made up the swap. Sorry

I just received both of my ornaments in the mail today. They're both lovely. I was tickled to get such nice, well-crafted items. Will post pics on Flickr today some time!

Today is the send out deadline. So please send today, or message me and your partner with a reason for not sending on time and an estimated send date. It looks like we are down to two ppl. I'll give it til tomorrow my time and then I'll start emailing. I figure with it being international swap that it might still be daytime somewhere. :)
