There is a holiday for every day of the year. Since we will all be using the same holiday calendar, go to this website for the calendar month of October: http://hidates.com/octcal.shtml Using this calendar, you pick 1 holiday from each week, you choose which one, and send something to your partner that has to do with the holiday you choose. It can be an article, craft, purchased item, etc. Anything that comes to mind that represents that holiday. For ex: October 8 is Wallpaper Day, you could send a bookmark made from wallpaper samples, or Oct.11 is Teddy Bear to Work Day, you could send your partner a Teddy Bear (or celebrate my birthday with me!),etc.! Use your imagination! There are 4 full, complete weeks in October, so you will send your partner a total of 4 items, 1 for each week, or more if you like. After you have collected the 4 items, please send them all together to your partner by the assigned deadline of October 2. This is USA only, 1 partner, and anyone with 4.7 ratings or better, and no recent no-sends. Newbies with a full profile. This should be fun!

OK wait... so we're sending 4 things to our partner all at once? Are we to mark what day they should be opened then?

Yes, send all 4 items at once. I would label them what day and holiday you picked so your partner knows.

Ummmm... I don't want to be a killjoy, but the website showed the October calendar from 2006. I noticed it because last year Friday the 13th was in October and this year Halloween is on a Wednesday. I don't know how that will actually apply to the swap, except this coming Oct. 13 might not be phobia day. I just wanted to bring that to someone's attention.

Thanks CarCrashHearts, I did notice that yesterday. The calendar is supposed to be updated and I know alot of times, it goes by the date itself in these calendars, so we'll just go with this calendar anyway.

Is anyone having trouble coming up with idea's for this? I must be having artist block because I am just drawing a blank everytime I look at the calendar. Please HELP! I have 4 days to finish up my package. Feel free to PM me with any helpful advice.
