I want to take a vacation this Christmas sooooo bad!! And since we all know it's not so easily afforded these days, why don't we just send a representative... say our beloved toy? :D THIS SWAP IS SIMPLY: 1) send a stuff toy to your partner 2) your partner takes your stuff toy around on a tour of their city's most popular tourist spots or your favorite local spots or special unknown places you think should be a tourist spot hahahah 3) takes a memorable picture or pictures! 4) creates a little album 5) sends stuff toy and album back to you :) RULES: 1) Since this is entails sending a package, :D please limit your furry friend to a reasonable size :D When I say reasonable, little stuff toys that aren't gigantic! Think PALM SIZE. Or little toy robots... NOTHING FRAGILE please :) 2) You must take your partner's furry friend on at least 6 memorable spots :) (but of course, the more the merrier) 3) Take a photo, have it printed to 6 by 4 (or 4R photo) 4) Create a mini-album, or scrapbook with a description of the visit :D 5) Please send back your partner's furry friend in a well packaged box/mailer 6) HANDLE WITH LOVE :D SWAP DETAILS: 1) Last day of sign up is Nov 30 2) YOU MUST SEND YOUR FURRY FRIEND TO YOUR PARTNERS by DECEMBER 4, 2010. 3) Bears must be sent HOME to their owners by January 30, 2011. So please send your bears as EARLY as possible to your partners. I am very excited about this!!! Let's all give each other a great christmas vacation... even if we can only do it so through our little furry bear :D Only participants with a consistent 5 rating (minimum of 10 completed swaps) will be accepted :) Unfortunately this swap will take commitment and trust :) PS: If you are currently BELOW THE REQUIRED NUMBER OF SWAPS but have a consistent 5 ratings, and a completed profile, please feel free to leave me a comment below or send me a message :) I can make an exception, as long as you have NO RATINGS BELOW 5. PPS: I realized that it's the XMAS season :D, mail might be a little slow! So I pushed the deadline of sending back furry friends to their owners up to JANUARY 30 :D This means, by JAN 30, your partner's toy should be on its way home :) PPPS: It just came to mind that the rating system for this swap will be unconventional :) Since you are rating based on what YOU receive from your partner and NOT rating for the tour that your toy ultimately gets. The scenario will be: Aislinn is partnered with Jane. Aislinn will send her bear to Jane, and Jane will send Aislinn's bear back to Aislinn. Jane is partnered with Courtney Jane sends her toy to Courtney, and Courtney will send Jane's bear back to Jane. And so the chain goes on.... Once partners are assigned, I will send you the following information: 1) WHO YOU'RE SENDING YOUR TOY TO... IS ALSO FROM WHOM YOU'RE GETTING YOUR TOY BACK FROM 2) WHOSE TOY YOU'LL BE RECEIVING... IS ALSO TO WHOM YOU SHOULD BE SENDING IT HOME TO. FOR EASIER TRACKING, Unfortunately I will have to cap this game off at 20 PARTICIPANTS. | |
