Supernatural Journal

Sooo, I've seen a lot of themed journals before, so I thought I'd give it a whirl with my own twist. I love Supernatural. Now you don't have to be a fan of the show to get where I'm going to go with this. But in the show, John and various other hunters of the supernatural all write down thoughts, patterns, stories and research concerning ghosts, demons, and urban legends.

For this swap, you'll take a journal around 8 x 5 inches, can be bigger but NOT smaller, and write in it, then send it to one partner. These entries however MUST be horror/paranormally filled.They can be themed or random, written by hunter, paranormal investigator (ie: Ghostfacers) or just a random collection. It's really YOUR choice how to fill out entries. Any era, time, way or means. You could do anything, like research vampires for a month, collect ghost stories, write a hunter's basic guide to hunting (which begs the question of how it got into your partner's hands?), or a collection of weird things you've noticed in your area. But they must have something to do with the supernatural.

There are a few guidelines however. You must:

• Decorate it! - this can mean anything! Newspaper articles (real or fake!), printings from the internet or copies from books, maps, drawings, photographs, etc. Use your imagination, too!

• Give it a personal touch. Maybe there's coffee or blood stains - no real blood please! (and if the latter, how'd they get there?), an old rosary used as a book mark, doodles, etc. Maybe include some random things from the 'author. Do write most of the entries in your own handwriting.

• Be creative - no one want's a plain journal. Even if it's contents are terrifying, give it some life (pun not intended!).

• Must have a total of 25 entries AT the least (unless asked, I'm not going to force a word count or anything). Most (a good 90 percent!) of these entries need to be pretty decently filled. But more is always best! Since I'm giving a lot of time to work on this, that gives you some leeway to make it and send it. I really expect good things. Please don't sign up unless you have the time to do this!

The journal can be handmade or store bought, and is sender's choice. However, I will be kind and let you list three things you DO NOT want in your journal below. Please listen to your partner.

While this is NOT profile based, PLEASE. Send something you would like, in fact. Let's all try to go for heart worthy, even if some of you do not like hearts!
