you should proof read what you wrote before hitting the final button -- your first sentence doesn't say what you thought you were writing.

I believe rating is not a matter of fairness, swap-bot defines how to rate: if you receive what the swap defines [an art postcard] that was sent by the send-by date, you rate 5, if it was sent later or is not an art postcard, you rate 3. If you never get it you rate 1. The heart is if you think it's special in some way.

@junemoon You should be more tolerant of someone who may not have English as their first language. Your comment reads as snippy, not helpful.

The swap host is from France originally, and native French speakers have trouble pronouncing "th" (just as a lot of native English speakers have trouble rolling their r's when speaking French).

Coming from a bilingual English-French country, I hear the hard "t" instead of the soft "th" all the time and find it quite charming.

And I see nothing wrong with the host's wording re rating fairly, because if you follow the SB guidelines, you ARE rating fairly...

thanks for all comments, I have re-worded the swap description and hope to please all ! Comment about fair rating is relating to a lot of message I read on swap-bot about peoples thinking they have been rated unfairly before!
