This is an EMAIL EMAIL EMAIL swap to describe what a slam book is and is not. quote [[[Title your Books "My First Slam" and fill it with as many "getting to know you" questions as you like. Send them to your partners who will fill them out and continue to pass them on! Get creative and decorate your slam books any way you want. Senders choice on this one as the books are going to be made for them. Don't forget to sign your own book before you send it!]]] quote This was from a swap done this summer for those new to slam books...soooo? What kind of question would you ask for fun? About two or three examples and we can get the idea.... For those who want to help others learn, what could we search the web for? What goes on the pages? How are they decorated? ...and other such questions, will be some things those who know will share with their partners so they can answer back and rate. Example: as far as I have been told, a slam book IS NOT an FB. A slam is different b/c addresses are not traded and passed. A slam book is more like a game that is traded and passed. See?? That was easy to describe ....and that is what your message to and from your partners will look like ;D

some people never find FB swaps in the friendship book category... they are usually in stickers or letters + writing, just b/c more people look there

also remember this is part one of the slam book swap.... after christmas, i will be inviting to create and send out slams....right now this swap is to brainstorm so the slams will be fun!!

and remember, you dont have to make a novel.. the questions page can have 4 questions or 24.... you want them to be brief and fun Igot one where the first page was of the makers favorite city scene

the second page was 8 questions, fun to answer

third page was stickers to add and decorate

last page was for signers name, you could add your address and likes if you wanted to!!

and that's it a slam book....but i don'tsee them much any more, it is sort of like a mini group pen pal letter I think!!
