Suicide Girls ATC

wow! This is seriously disturbing stuff. Even the swap title is disturbing. I've seen a few disturbing swaps lately. I wonder if they are monitored?

Why is the swap title disturbing? This is a subculture. If it offends you, don't join it.

Suicide Girls are like a brand name. It is a type of pin up girl. There is nothing different between pin up girls and suicide girls. Suicide girls are just a bit more goth,punk than regular Vargas type pin up girls. Seriously if you don't know what they are you should judge.

if you don't like the title of something you shouldn't click and look at the swap, you should scroll on by...this is a public swapping site and that means you have all sorts of people with all sorts of interests from all sorts of cultures, which is what makes the world go round...

I was once asked if I was a suicide girl and I was flattered!!! I guess I'm disturbed...maybe I should be monitored?

For some people just seeing the title is enough to be disturbing, never mind clicking on it. Suicidal ideation is not a pleasant thing and for anyone in that position it is enough to see the title on the swap list to disturb them. I know.

..and on to a more positive note.. I know there is nothing to say we can choose which SuicideGirls we get but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE would my partner make my SGs Vivid and Apnea!? I adore both of them! ^_^ I know Apnea is not a SG anymore but I still love her <3 :D If not, it's fine, I totally understand. Just thought it would be worth asking. :)

Saying that Suicide girls is flattering sounds just as if someone told me Anorexic is flattering too.. So, i do agree with @Gofeen because those things obviously do exist.. and people that like it do exist.. but than again- SHOULD NOT.. So it is almost as if someone suggested to make a Ana/Mia swap here.. I am sure some people would find that "in their genre".. But there still should not be a place for it here..

Really? You are comparing Suicide Girls to pro anorexia? Wow. That is ridiculous. Do you even understand what a Suicide Girl is? How are women with tattoos and piercings ANYWHERE comparable to women with an neurological condition that often leads to incredibly emaciated appearance.

Suicide is a touchy subject for me as well, but it actually has nothing to do with the 'Suicide Girls'. I might not be a fan of the name, but that doesn't mean I don't like the ladies.

The brand name SuicideGirls is not actually about suicidal ideation, suicide attempts, or anything like that at all. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but really, do a little research before you criticize.

It doesn't matter whether the girls are about suicide or not and this is especially relevant when someone does not know much about them. Looking at the list of new swaps and up pops Suicide Girls what is the first thought that comes to mind especially if you don't know what/who they are? For someone who has made suicide attempts, knows someone who committed suicide or has suicidal ideation ending one's life is the thought that comes immediately before even clicking on the swap name. That is why it is so disturbing. There have been one or two other questionable swaps put up lately as well as this one. And yes, we all have responsibility for what we open up but that's too late with a title like this showing up where you can't avoid seeing it. I know there is room for many, perhaps any genre on Swap-bot but I also believe we all have a responsibility as to what swaps we post and how we title them.

Man who would have thought one little swap would cause so much ruckus.
