Let's Upcycle any type of tin or cardboard container into something functional and beautiful. You will have one partner and redesign and decorate either one cardboard, plastic, or tin container and send to your assigned swap partner. Non-Profile Specific-No need to wait for assigned partners, go ahead and start on your container upcycle project and you'll be ready to send once your partner is assigned. You may cut your container, alter it into anything you can imagine and decorate with fabric, felt, decorative scrapbooking paper, vintage images, stamped and cut out images, etc. The possibilities are endless. Let's make it nice! Something that you could use but also worthy of displaying in your house. Post questions here in the discussion and I'll answer ASAP.

redgreenchile-yes, a cigar box would be just fine. Any type of container is fine, make of any material-I'd just keep it a reasonable size to keep your shipping cost down.

I just did one with my scouts tonight. I used a small cotton candy container. I had them cut up magazines to cover it up. I will use mine for this swap and add some other things to it before I mail it out.

I hope that this one is repeated. I can't join because I just got a 1 this wk, for a PC swap. I have already re-sent it, as of today but its not gonna arrive in time for me to join this one. Darn it. Its been on my watchlist since it was created and I was really looking forward to it. PLEASE do this one again! Or if anyone is willing to do this w/ me, privately, PM me!!
