One Dollar Challenge

i went to the dollar store the other day to pick up a couple things for a swap, left spending $30. it may be cheap, but it's addictive.

Don't know if you know about the stuff comming in from China. Check your cosmetic items you may buy to see it is from China. A warning came out recently of contamination in those products. Dollar stores do buy from China, cheaper

ladydy5: yes their cheap prices are due to the exports of china, I also heard about the contaminated toothpaste! But they still have so fun items! I dont have any cosmetics from there tho so I'm relief! thanks for the info

I'm easy to please...but don't bother with cosmetic items for me & no bubble bath..I'm a shower person! ;)

I like stickers, socks, pens, bookmarkers, hair ties, candles, car freshners & candies. These seem to be the items I usually buy when I do my mega dollar store visit. tnx and good luck!!

this sounds SO fun! I would rather not have any of the cheapy figurines or cosmetics(lip glosses are fine). My daughter loves tinkerbell so that would be great if there was some girly stuff in there for her. I am open to anything really, crafty stuff and notebooks, useful things like that! Really these are just ideas, I love surprises!

OH, and if (just in case) my partner wants to send something to my daughter sneaked in my package as well, she is 3 and her name is Natalie and she is crafty too!

I have a question...does it ahve to be from the dollar store as long as each item was only a dollar? b/c there are other stores that have some great dollar items i would love to pass on.

I'm fine with getting anything but i'm not to fond of cosmetics or those figurines. I would like some hair things though.

I love pens, stationary items, lip glosses, I have two puppies so may a dog toy??? I love candy, and pretty paper!!!

I like Stationary, things for dogs, things with dogs on them, ribbon, tape, bags and boxes

I don't mind what my partner sends to me as long as it isn't cosmetics or ponytail holders (my hair is too short for ponytail holders).

Likes: Stars rainbows glitter pens (especially gel or just regular black ink. I especially love funky pens) stationary candles incense crayons and coloring books (I know, it sounds childish but it's a great stress reliever) funky socks figurines funky purses etc
