I think it would be awesome to send a CD of some of the songs on your that you compile in your journal so that your swapper also gets more of the emotion of the song itself..I think I will be sending one.

i have done that in the past as an extra i have compiled a cd with my fave tracks from the journal ... works well :)

Can we type out the lyrics, or do they have to be handwritten? Also, I think the CD idea is a cool one. I think I'd send one too so my partner could listen along while reading the lyrics.

i was thinking on a cd also. of the songs i picked, i went through my "windows media player" to see which of the songs i had on my llist that was also on my computer. also, i went to "youtube" and set up a list of all the songs i chose so i can e-mail it to my partner, if they want it.

got my cd done, also, i made a couple of other cd's of general favorite songs to send along. (lyrics will be included in journal also, as an extra).

i got this from the fb idea .... and you can type handwrite mix both the important thing is to make it fun and imaginative

Just to clarify...is a CD a requirement? and do the pages HAVE to be decorated?

I agree, however I am more of a collager these days as opposed to a doodler and my decorated pages may not look all that pretty lol

as for me, i'm not artistic what-so-ever. it's difficult for me to draw a straight line with a ruler.

I am interested in making my pages like large ATCs with lyrics. Should be a blast to make! I have already figured out what I want to include. Will be making a CD with mine too.

its all down to interpretation of it thats why i leave them quite open the main requirement is to make something YOU would like to recieve :) im well on with making mine already so my partner should recieve it pretty quickly :)

@draco I was late, because we had several deaths in the family. I did have contact with partner though. I have a feeling I am going to be flaked on since my partner hasn't been online since May 15. I have been flaked on so many times in 2011. It's driving me insane.
