National Postcard Week is May 1-7, 2011. I thought it would be fun to host a postcard swap in celebration. This is a Quick postcard swap with short sign-up and mail out deadlines so that postcard greetings will arrive during celebration week. In this swap, You will send your partner 1 brand new card (store bought, hand made, ad card - your choice). Cards should be written on, stamped, and sent naked. Newbies welcome, becaue I remember what it was like to try to get started swapping. Everyone else must have a 3.0 rating or higher. However, I'll be checking profiles before the swap and will email those who either don't fit the profile or whom I might have questions.. Flakers are not encouraged to join however, I'll angel the swap for any who do slip by me. This is my first time hosting a swap so I'm making it as easy as possble for you, and for me :-) So come on along and play! Let's help celebrate National Postcard Week, May 1-7, 2011 !!

Hi! In your description it says, " cards should be written on, stamped, and sent naked." Well, they won't be naked if they are written on, will they??? Could you explain that to me please??? Thanks!

Naked just means they are sent through the mail without an envelope.

I've found that postcard swaps tend to be very popular. Most of the people signed up have higher ratings than a 3. I'm also going to angel this swap.

What is an 'ad post card' and how do you make one of your own? this is only my 2nd postcard swap and im curious as how to these things work.

An ad postcard is an advertising card, a card that advertises an event, product, restuarant, etc. They are usually free cards you pick up at events, restaurants, stores, etc.

Wow, I just heard from my first swap partner and updated my profile with photo. Oh, yes, I sleep with my Nikon and iphone. iMac says the bed is to crowded. Working on getting more roomy bed.

The swap says deadline April 30 and the send dates also are different, May1-7.
